Remember the day that I was born, 

That first time I looked in your eyes. 



Remember the first time you gathered me up 

And held me in your arms so tight. 



Remember the day I knew your voice, 

And smiled in delight. 


Remember the first time you rocked me gently 

And tucked me in and said goodnight. 



Remember the first time I made you laugh, 

When I made a silly face. 



Remember the first time you picked up my toys 

And put them in their place. 



Remember the times we laughed and played, 

The many fun days we had. 



Remember the times you held me tight 

When I was feeling sad. 



Remember the softness of my skin, 

My little feet and tiny hands, 



Remember the day you set me free, 

But most of all..... 

            Remember me.
